OUR BEGINNING

 Spartanburg Reformed Baptist Fellowship began as a small gathering of believers desiring faithful teaching, reverent worship, and meaningful fellowship rooted in historic Baptist theology.

What began as a simple time of prayer and study has grown into a regular weekly meeting centered on Scripture, congregational hymn singing, thoughtful discussion, and corporate prayer.

 Spartanburg Reformed Baptist Fellowship exists to glorify God by gathering believers for Christ-centered worship, faithful preaching and teaching of Scripture, earnest prayer, and meaningful fellowship.

We are committed to historic Baptist doctrine, the doctrines of grace, and worship shaped by the Word of God. As we grow in unity and maturity, we prayerfully seek the Lord’s guidance toward the establishment of a confessional Reformed Baptist church in Spartanburg.

 Our desire is to see Christ faithfully preached and His church strengthened in Spartanburg. We long to see families grounded in biblical truth, believers equipped for godly living, and a church congregation formed that stands firmly upon the authority and sufficiency of Scripture.

We trust the Lord to build His church according to His will and in His timing.

 We are grateful for the encouragement and pastoral oversight of Grace Baptist Church in Taylors, South Carolina. An elder or deacon from Grace Baptist Church is present at our gatherings, providing accountability, counsel, and shepherding care as we seek to grow in faithfulness and maturity.
